For the past 15 years, I have worked as a custom furniture and cabinet maker. During this time, I incorporated the methods and materials, tool usage and numerical precision intrinsic to custom work into the way in which I produce art.

This body of work has its origins in seeing possibilities in materials. I bring form to the dialogue, sometimes random or unintended, that can arise between the innate characteristics of materials and their production methods.
